Credit Card

Give to the Impact Fund on our credit card donation portal and you’ll be emailed a tax receipt immediately. Go to the credit card donation portal.

Donor Advised Fund

Direct a grant from your Donor Advised Fund to the Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s Impact Fund. Those with Donor Advised Funds at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation or Yolo Community Foundation can easily recommend a grant using the donor portal. Once signed in, select Create Grant Request and then Previous Grantee. Choose Impact Fund on the Other Foundation Funds drop-down list, then complete the grant request.

Wire Transfer

To make a gift of cash to the Impact Fund via domestic wire transfer, please contact our Philanthropy Team.

Appreciated Stock

A gift of appreciated stock to the Impact Fund avoids capital gains taxes and allows you to deduct the fully appreciated value regardless of the original purchase price. To transfer appreciated stock, complete a Stock Transfer Form with your broker. Then, please contact our Philanthropy Team to facilitate the deposit.

Qualified Charitable Distribution

Those over 72 years-old who must take Required Minimum Distributions annually from their IRAs can make Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) directly to the Impact Fund and avoid income taxes. To qualify, your IRA administrator must initiate the QCD before year-end and send it directly to the Sacramento Region Community Foundation.

Planned Giving Strategies

You can leave a lasting legacy of support for your community using planned giving strategies to support the Impact Fund, including via bequests in your will or trust, charitable gift annuities, life insurance, and retirement plan donations. Please contact our Philanthropy Team for support.

Named Unrestricted Fund

Establish a named Unrestricted Fund at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation and reflect your wishes for its investment in the near-term or as a permanent source of community capital.
